Twilight Vent.

I am in love with Twilight, and have been since the first second I watched the film (yes, I watched it before i read it. Not my usual actions). But like every film that has made the transition onto the big screen, it has its (many) faults.
Now that I've read the books, I can't even bring my self to watch the film(well, most of the time) because of my continuing obsession with pointing out all its deviations from the book I so love. (Wow, that sounds sad.)
But I need to get this out there so here goes.

1. Kristen Stuart is NOT right for Bella. Her portrayal of Bella is almost a polar opposite of Book-Bella. She just doesn't fit, in my opinion. I know she is a good actress in her own right but I think she was not right for Twilight. Maybe the directors were blinded by her experience, but I personally do not picture Kristen Stuart when I read the Twilight books.

2. It's WAY too serious!!! Go through Twilight and count how many times Edward "chuckles" pulls a "crooked smile" and laughs. Yet in the film.. nada. zilch. ZERO! (well almost!) Lighten it up people. Its not all doom and gloom! I reckon this applies to Emmet as well. In the book he's so fun and unfazed by anything!

3. Bella's too high tech and too coordinated. Seriously. She has a laptop???? What happened to her dusty old computer? That's the appeal of Bella! She doesn't care for the material things in life! She wouldn't own a laptop, apart from this, she hasn't got enough money for one! And there's not enough clumsiness for my liking. But hey.

There are many more. LOl. But I feel bad putting them all in one LONG list. Maybe I'll do it three at a time? Water it down a bit you know.
